HARVEY, Gordon Francis 'Frank' - Gordon Francis “Frank” Harvey, 84, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021.
Frank was predeceased by the love of his life Joan Evelyn Harvey (nee Spurr), and his loving parents Gordon and Mae.
He is survived by his adoring children Bryan, David (Susie) and Zelda, his siblings Duke, Ron, Helen, Elsie (predeceased), Marg (predeceased), Jim (predeceased) and David (predeceased), as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frank had always been a family man. Even from the time he was a child, he was a father figure, and everyone always came to him when they needed help, his door was always open. Frank loved his family, and his family was all he needed. His best friends were his family, and he loved spending time with them. Every Saturday night he could be found playing cards surrounded by family. He will always be remembered as a real tease, who could always get everyone going. Whenever Frank didn’t have the company of his family, he could be found fishing.
We take comfort in knowing that Frank is now in a place where he’s reunited with his wife and brothers and sisters, probably enjoying a good round of poker.
In light of the pandemic, the visitation and funeral services will be by invitation only. The family would like to invite friends and family of Frank to attend the funeral service by watching the livestream broadcast. Arrangements entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Danforth chapel.
