KOHN, Josif 'Joseph'It is with great sorrow that we announce that on Saturday, April 3, 2021, Joseph Kohn died peacefully of natural causes at the Baycrest Hospital where his palliative care team helped make every remaining moment of his life as comfortable as possible.

Joseph was born October 18th, 1920 in Varsovie (now Warsaw), Poland. After surviving the war in Belgium he married Sara Szulman (Schulman), in 1948 and immigrated to Canada in 1952.

He was a loving husband, father, and Zaidy; leaving a daughter, Renée Ruiter-Kohn and her husband Fred Ruiter and sons Ben and Joshua; and a son Howard Kohn and his wife Judy and son Sam.

Private Family Service arrangements on Monday are entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel. Private Shiva.
