It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an incredible man, a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Brother.
George Joseph Gerald Gies passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 with his loving wife by his side, Deborah Gies (Cub).
Loving Father to Sandra (Peter) Recine, Sheryl (Gary Dance) McKinley and Michele (Michael) Randall. Predeceased by his daughter Susan Simon.
Will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Michael (Kristin) McKinley, Stephen (Brittany) Recine, Jennifer (Evan) McKinley, Brandon (Milana) Simon, Andrew (Holly) Recine, Ryan (Monica) Simon, Paul Randall and James Randall. Christopher (Tina) Recine, Angela (Matt) Houston. Papa to his Great Grandchildren: Finn, Cole, Grayson, Olivia, Ally, Owen and Ekaterina.
Beloved Brother to Bill (Gert) Gies, Eileen Quehl, Ken (Terry) Gies and Frank (Marilyn) Gies and Brother in law to John Logozny.
Predeceased by siblings Helen (Clare) Esbaugh, Gertrude (Gerald) Zettel, Grace (Wilfred) Zinger, Marie (George) Korway, Florence Logozny, June Cowan and Bill Quehl.
