Taylor KellyTAYLOR, Kelly Hurlburt - It is with the heaviest of hearts we share that on Easter Sunday April 4, 2021, after a long and valiant fight, Kelly passed away peacefully at the age of 44, surrounded by family.

Kelly was born on June 8, 1976, in Toronto, Ontario, and was given the gift of a second chance at life through organ donation in 2001.

She lived that life to the fullest, pursuing a teaching career, getting married, travelling, treasuring time at the cottage in Muskoka and raising her precious children.

She is the beloved daughter of Rob and Nancy Hurlburt, devoted sister of Lindsay Hurlburt and Julie Jones (Ryan).

Cherished wife of Stephen Taylor and incredible loving mother to Jackson, Lilly and Wesley.

She is also survived by Gail and Doug Taylor, Denise and Kevin Vanek, and nieces Taylor and Jordyn.

She is also loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues.

Kelly was known for her infectious smile, light sense of humour, compassion, strong faith and especially for her optimism and determination. She never gave up.

Kelly held deep and tremendous gratitude for her organ donors and for the care provided by all of the dedicated staff at Toronto General Hospital. Having her sister walk the journey alongside her was truly a blessing.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held for immediate family only. A Celebration of Life will follow in the future when we are able to safely gather and honour Kelly in the fullest capacity.

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the Trillium Gift of Life Network or The Hospital for Sick Children
