Christakis PanagiotaCHRISTAKIS, Panagiota - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Panagiota Christakis.

Panagiota peacefully left in her sleep, in the comfort of her own home, during the morning hours of April 5, 2021.

Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Panagiota is survived by her husband Constantinos, her 3 children, Cathy (Steve), Maria (Peter), and Dimitri, along with her 5 grandchildren, Vasili, Panayiota, Kosta, Kaliopi, and Kosta.

Beloved sister of Matoula (Gianni), Voula (Kyriako), Giannis (Tzeni), and Theodore (Panagiota).

Panagiota leaves behind her large extended family, including nieces and nephews.

Panagiota joins in paradise, her Parents, father Nikolaos Tsagaris and mother Maria Maheras.

Panagiota was a woman who was truly loved by all. She was known for her positive energy, her helpfulness, her smile, her singing and her dancing. Her passions were most definitely Cooking and Gardening. She was known by all of us as the best cook, and when she was outside, you could always find her with her flowers in the garden.

You could always stop by her balcony for a coffee, a quick meal, or join her on her daily walks.

She will be greatly missed by her entire family, near and far, and all of her friends. Panagiota is gone, but she and her beautiful blue eyes will never be forgotten.

Visitation and the service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive, Toronto on Friday, April 16, 2021. We kindly require you to register your attendance through the Heritage Funeral Centre website.
