Newal DavidNEWALL, David Edward   -  May 12, 1952 - April 10, 2021

The family of David Edward Newall is saddened to announce his passing on April 10, 2021, at the age of 69.

David was predeceased by his father, Albert Edward (Ted) Newall and his mother, Margaret Rachel Newall, and his brother, Thomas Albert Newall.

David will be fondly missed by his nephews, Russell and Trevor, their wives, Cheryl and Alleta, as well as their children, Ben, Connor, Evie and Lily.

David will also be missed by his long lifetime friends from East York Collegiate, Hugh S. and Peter V.

The three of them became lifelong friends and shared many of the passions they found in common during these formative years.

David will also be sadly missed by Carol T., Yvetta L., Bonnie B., David W. and the Gibbs and Van Dette families, who all enjoyed David's close friendship over the years.

Born and raised in Toronto, David graduated from East York Collegiate to pursue a career in nuclear medicine.

He was a bit old school when it came to film and photography, as well as his fascination with late 60s and early 70s muscle cars.

David might be best described as loyal and eclectic.

He will be sorely missed by family and friends.

We would also like to thank the team at Princess Margaret Hospital for their care and devotion to David the past few years. They looked after David with compassion and dignity which was very much appreciated.

A small interment will take place at Westminster Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation at https://supportthepmcf.ca/ui/TributeDonation/donations/start (In Memory) or 416-946-6560 or 1-866-224-6560.
