RESNICK, Dr. Robert Lawrence 'Bob' - Dr. Robert Lawrence (“Bob”) Resnick, 80, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at North York General Hospital.

A dentist who was universally adored by his patients and colleagues, Bob is survived by his loving wife Daria of forty-nine years, his two children, Evan and Allison, and his four grandchildren, Lorelei, Dylan, Jonah, and Eileen.

Bob was also far more than a mere brother-in-law to Daria’s six siblings and their spouses: He was a dear and deeply loved older brother to Djayne, Irca, Stella, Mela, Lesha, Ronnie, Ron, and Delia, and uncle to Alexander, Jacob, Nicholas, and Adam.

On entering the family, daughter-in-law Barb and son-in-law Charles warmed immediately to Bob’s entertaining stories and spectacular sense of humour. Bob’s most treasured memories included his legendary “around the world” tour in 1971; weekends spent with his family at the cottage; fishing expeditions, bowling matches, and trips to the racetrack with Art Ross and his other close friends; incessantly shuttling his grandkids to Costco; watching James Bond marathons on television; and never missing a Maple Leafs or Blue Jays game (no matter how much their lackluster performance drove him to profanity-laced denunciations).

His family and friends will always remember and cherish Bob’s uncompromising honesty, generosity, and devotion

Private Family Service arrangemnets and livestream details are entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made in Bob’s honour to the Sunnybrook Schulich Heart Centre (https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/tribute).
