Van Demark JoshVAN DEMARK, Joshua 'Josh' Paul - It is with deepest sorrow, we announce that Joshua, age 32, our most beloved son, brother, uncle, father, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 12, 2021.

Joshua is survived by his mother, Aurora Viviane Miranda, his siblings Ivan Alberto Henriquez (sister-in-law Margaret Jean Foley) and Ximena Alejandra Henriquez, his nieces Tysha Alejandra Henriquez, Charlotte Rose Henriquez, Estelle Louise Henriquez; his nephew Max Paul Jordan, his father Paul Van Demark, and his son Noah James Simpson.

Joshua’s life was too short, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of his existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived.

He was an athlete when he was younger, playing hockey, baseball and soccer. When he was little, he laughed and joked a lot. He was full of energy.

He was also incredibly smart and curious about so many aspects of life.

He taught himself psychology, learned as much as he could about Spirituality and existence. Joshua always wanted to better himself, to be the best human he could be.

Unfortunately Josh’s mental illness took a toll on him and over the years he struggled. Less like himself. But we know he loved us, and we love him.
