PRICE, Catherine - April 6, 1945 - April 13, 2021
On the morning of Tuesday, April 13, 2021, Cathy peacefully slipped away after a brief illness.
She is survived by her sister Joan of Ladysmith, BC and her brother Robbie of Madoc, Ontario. She was predeceased by her siblings Raymond, Gary, Wendy, and Marty, and her parents Hazel and Graham.
Cathy grew up in Chesterville and Winchester in Eastern Ontario, and lived most of her adult life in Toronto and Scarborough.
From an early age, Cathy was her own woman: strong enough to not feel like she had to "play by the rules". Even in small-town Ontario in the 1960s and 70s, she entirely rejected the conventional woman's role. She was single, she worked, she loved to play sports, she was competitive and felt no compulsion whatsoever to "be nice".
She will be sorely missed.
At Cathy's request there will be no memorial service. Her remains will be interred with those of her sister Wendy in Winchester, Ontario.
