DINETZ, Betty  - Betty Dinetz passed away peacefully at home, on April 18, 2021.

Betty was the devoted wife of the late Sidney Dinetz, and beloved mother and mother-in-law of their children, Gail and Richard Daigle, Howard and Cathy Dinetz, and Marilyn Dinetz.

She was blessed to have been grandmother to Jason and Jaclyn Dinetz, Sarah Lauglin, Cheryl Hogan, Rachel Daigle, and Erik and Alex Maxim; as well as great-grandmother to Eli and Emi Lauglin, Madelyne and Macy Hogan, and Xabriel Richardson Dinetz.

She leaves behind her sister, Lillian Nyman, whom she treasured dearly.

Betty was so many things to so many people. Everything she did, she did with all of herself.

When she stood her ground, she was an immovable object. When she marched forward, it was with unstoppable force. She had so much to give and gave so much of it freely, from her stoic opinions to her warm, helping hands.

She was blessed with a sharp mind and a full heart, and was never afraid to share either one.

Contributions in Betty's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A private family funeral was held on Sunday, April 18th. There will be no shiva due to COVID-19.
