Seibel PierretteSEIBEL, Pierrette Marie Anne (nee Ranger) - (1952 - 2021) - It is with great sadness that the family of Pierrette Seibel announces her passing on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Her spirit lives on in the work she accomplished through her research on her family’s ancestry. Her passion for genealogy was appreciated by her family, who loved to hear the facts and stories she discovered in her search.

She was generous by nature and cared deeply for those closest to her.

Christmas was always a special time for her, as she enjoyed watching Paul create elaborate treasure hunts for their grandchildren. She took great pleasure in keeping Paul in line, when he designed the clues, limiting it to foreign languages, trigonometry and pop culture.

She also loved the annual tea parties that she hosted with her great-niece Annalyn. It was an annual tradition that she looked forward to planning. She always went out of her way to make sure it was special.

Pete leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of 37 years, Paul Seibel. She will be greatly missed by her children Mitch and Nicole (Blair), her grandchildren Matthew, Zachary & Hannah and her mother-in-law Vicky. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Diane (Lyn) and her children Robby, Jossie (Dave), Rhonda (Daniel), Becky (Steve) and Jackie. She will also be fondly remembered by Diane’s grandchildren Annalyn, AJ, Arya, Senan, Daxon and Dalila.

She is forever remembered by her brothers Roger (Denise), Robert (Joyce) and Ronnie (Lynn). She is predeceased by her parents Ubald and Fernande, as well as her brothers, Richard, Raymond (Jeannette) and Roger, as well as her sister Denise (Graham).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Taylor funeral home, Newmarket.

Those who so desire may make a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
