Bilanski JeanBILANSKI, Jean  - 1942 - 2021

On April 12, 2021, Jean (Jennie Bernice), after a ten-year struggle with Alzheimer's, passed away quietly at The Salvation Army Meighen Manor, in Toronto.

Jean was predeceased by her parents Mary (nee Kotys) and Paul Bilanski and is survived by sister Anne Bilanski of Belleville, Ontario.

Her father worked at the Canada Cement Factory in Point Anne and this is where she grew up with her family.

She played ball, skated on the Bay of Quinte and learned to become a very good tennis player. Jean had a very quick wit and to spend time with Jean was always a fun outing.

After moving to Toronto, Jean worked happily as a ticket agent of Air Canada for 35 years. A great animal lover, Jean "cat sat" and dog walked and donated to many animal charities.

She will be missed by all who knew her. She will rest in peace beside her parents in Belleville.

In memory of Jean, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Meighen Manor, 155 Millwood Road, Toronto M4S 1J6 or an animal charity of your choice.
