Kemp HerbertKEMP, Herbert John (Herb)    -February 19, 1950 - April 20, 2021

It is with sadness, we share the passing of Herbert (Herb) John Kemp at Oakville, Ontario, on April 20, 2021.

He passed peacefully at Chartwell Waterford Retirement Residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. Herb was born and raised on Rice Lake.

Preceded by his parents Alma and Roland (Toby), his Sister Linda (Gary) and Sister-in-Law Marilyn.

He is survived by his brother Lance, Randy (Claudette), and sister Pam (Al).

His wife and the love of his life Emily (Penny) Kemp (nee Haight).

His children Tania (Brent), Johnathan (Siobhan) and is Grandpa/Papa to Arthur John, Andrew Herbert, and Charlotte Mary-Ellen and, brother-in-law to Gladys, Bonnie (Ken) a cousin, uncle, and friend to many.

An avid traveler and lover of great food and wine he loved spending time with friends, family and most of all his life long love affair, his wife and partner Penny.

There will be a private funeral for family on Friday, April 23, 2021.  Due to COVID restrictions, there is no visitation. Celebration of Life to follow at a later date once COVID restrictions allow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital. Thanks to the staff at Chartwell Waterford, Healing Hearts, the Cancer teams at Princess Margaret Hospital and Oakville Trafalgar Hospitals for all of their support and care. Your buddys waiting for you, and you are remembered always, never forgotte.
