Baring ElizabethBARING, Elizabeth – (1939 - 2021) - It is with heavy hearts we announce that Elizabeth, surrounded by her family, passed peacefully in her home on Sunday April 18th, 2021.

Elizabeth, or to her friends and family, Lizzy, is the beloved wife of James for 60 beautiful years.

A devoted, proud and loving mother to Hector (Norma), Edna (Chris), Ethel (Carl) and Darin (Karen).

She will be fondly and forever remembered by her grandchildren CJ (Linda), Chantel, Christina, Jessica, Julia, Justin, Sophia and Jamie. And one of her greatest sources of joy is her great grandchild Zai.

She is survived by dear siblings Clara and Vincent, many loving brothers and sisters in law, and wonderful nieces and nephews.

Nana welcomed everyone into her life with open arms & always made sure that whomever entered her home didn't leave hungry. Her generosity, selflessness & warmth will be remembered dearly. Her love of dancing, the joy she found in plants & flowers & how she relished her Indian movies and songs are treasures we will keep close at heart.

And the years of adoration & love her and James shared will outlast any parting. Nana loved togetherness & kept her family's happiness at the forefront of everything she did. Her warmth extended beyond us as she brought a genuine touch of something special to all the lives around her. Her parting will leave a chasm in many lives. While we will crave for time to talk to her, embrace her & see her smile from across the room, our hearts are full and overflowing with love & memories of our Matriarch.

May you be ever loved & remembered by all. Rest in Peace Mom/Nana.

Arrangements entrusted with GIffen-Mack funeral home, Danforth chapel.
