LASITA, Ignazino 'Joe' - Passed away suddenly and peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on April 18, 2021 at age 87 due to heart failure.
Beloved by his partner Janet (Farquharson); devoted father of Jeannine; dear brother and sister Salvatore (Rose) and Josephine (Barry); he was predeceased by his parents Rocco and Vincenza. He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joe will be fondly remembered for his friendliness and generosity by all his customers and friends from his Wholesale Fruit and Produce business.
A special mention goes out to his card buddies who he played with for many years.
Thanks and appreciation to Dr. Michelle Hladunewich and her staff for their excellent care and compassion during Joe's dialysis sessions the past seven years.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date due to the pandemic. Arrangements entrusted with Jerrett funeral home, Scarborough chapel.
Donations may be made in memory of Joe to Sunnybrook Hospital (Nephrology).
