Lee MollyLEE, Molly  -  It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Molly Lee.

At the age of 90, she passed away peacefully, on the morning of April 29, 2021.

Molly was predeceased by her partner Doug Lee, brothers Victor and Joseph Lee and longtime friend Vicky.

She is survived by her siblings, Susie, Dorothy, Mary, Nellie, Harold, Rose and Ethel.

She will be fondly remember by her in-laws, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Molly spent most of her life in Toronto, Ontario, where she spent many days bowling and curling.

She also spent her time volunteering where needed, in particular at the community center around the corner from her longtime apartment on Roselawn Avenue.

She also loved sending cards and letters to her loved ones, we will all forever miss the signature purple Molly heart stamp. Her friends in Toronto were like family to her, and they remained in touch with her, sending her cards and letters up until the end.

Molly loved to travel with family and friends, traveling to many different countries and attending many Expo's in different countries collecting mementos along the way.

She often came home to Halifax to spend time with her family.

In 2014, Molly decided to spend her remaining years back in Halifax close to her family. We have the deepest appreciation for the staff of the Whitehills Long Term Care Facility. They took the utmost care with Molly and bantered with her sharp wit even towards the end.

In particular, thank you to Carly for being with her.

Cremation has taken place and Molly will be interred in Toronto, Ontario.
