CZAJKOWSKI, Jerzy "Jurek" Krzysztof - (August 10, 1946 – May 6, 2021)
Jerzy Czajkowski passed away peacefully on May 6, 2021 after a long illness with his family by his side.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 48 years, Anna, his daughters, Kasia and Maya, his nephews, Hubert and Alan, and many family members and friends in Canada, Poland, France and Australia.
He was predeceased by his brother, Andrzej, and his parents, Jan and Kazimiera.
Jerzy was a proud mechanical and nuclear engineer who spent most of his career at Ontario Power Generation and was a familiar presence at the Darlington, Pickering and Bruce nuclear power plants.
The family wishes to thank Dr. A. Finelli, Dr. N. Fallah-Rad and Dr. S. Banerjee and their medical teams at Princess Margaret Hospital, as well as Dr. M. Melnitzer and her team at the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital, for their care, compassion and comfort.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date once it is safe to gather together.
