McEachern WilliamMcEACHERN, William David Thomas   -  It is with profound sadness and heartache that I announce the passing of my beloved husband David, April 29, 2021.

Seventy-seven years old. David was born in Toronto, an engraver by trade, retired from the Toronto Star Newspaper January 2004.

He enjoyed refereeing hockey in his earlier years.

One of the biggest pleasures in his life was boating for many years on Lake Couchiching where he made many great boating friends and wonderful memories.

Travel was another big enjoyment in his life along with our fish pond, yard and Falls casino.

David dealt with lung disease and other health issues but he fought a hard fight to the very end.

We cannot thank the VON palliative care, Queenston Parmacy and the fine Doctors that looked after David enough.

They were all so kind caring and compassionate.

David will be greatly missed for his kindness and sense of humour by his Wife Linda, Sister Lynn McArthur (John predeceased), Brother Al McEachern (Jette), Nephews and Cousins, Friends Susan and Jon Howell, Eldon and Leona MacInnis and his Second Favorite Girl next to Linda (Whiskey).

If you would like to make a donation in memory of David, please give to the charity of your choice.

David is being cremated and there will be no funeral service.

Hoping a Celebration of Life can follow at a later date.
