WILSON, Marie - It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Wilson announces her passing.
Marie passed away peacefully with her son Scott and daughter in law Trish by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer on May 6, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 75.
Born in Newcastle, England to parents William Plunkett and Elizabeth Plunkett (nee Tones) Together forever with her late husband Derek Wilson (spouse).
Cherished mother to Derek Scott and mother-in-law to Trish. Beloved and adored grandmother to Cheyenne and Cole. Devoted best friend of Berit and Virginia.
A beautiful and wonderful person who loved life, her family and cruises. She will be missed and will be forever remembered by the many whose lives she touched.
Forever in our hearts. Sail and Rest in paradise. Until we meet again.
As per family's wishes, cremation has already taken place. Arrangements entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Danforth chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lakeridge Cancer Centre.
