KERZNER, Anita - We have been left with a huge hole in our hearts with the passing of our beloved mother Anita on Monday, June 7, 2021 at home, surrounded with the love and devotion of her family by her side.
Anita fought valiantly during her 8 year battle with cancer to live every day with courage and joy, and without regret or complaint.
She exemplified selfless love, compassion, and gratitude. Her love shined upon us every day as an extension of her beauty and wisdom.
Anita had a deep appreciation of life.
She loved to travel, cook for her family, and she adored and valued her friends and the social life she shared with them.
To say that Anita was one of a kind, would be an understatement. She was a force of everything good, steadfast and dedicated to those that remained close to her; and a true inspiration to her family and friends.
Her children and grandchildren were a constant source of fuel for her soul.
Anita was the cherished daughter of the late Sylvia Burstein and Al Lipson and sister to her adored brother Sidney Burstein.
She has now joined our beloved father Albert to be by his side again. Her three children Marla, David and Roanne and much loved son-in-laws Larry, and Stephen will forever treasure the lifetime of memories shared together.
Anita's grandchildren were the constant light in her life. Justin and fiance Arianne, Derek, Taylor and Matthew who will all greatly miss their beloved buby.
A special thank you to her incredible team of Doctors; Dr. Burkes, Dr. Quereshy, Dr. Gallinger and the dedicated Dr. Howe, whose care was such an important part of our mothers' life these last months.
A Family graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
