ZAFIRIADIS, Triadafillos 'Fillos' - Peacefully at Kipling Acres, on Monday, June 7, 2021, at the age of 83.
Dearly beloved husband of Petrina Zafiriadis (nee Boukouris).
Fillos as he was known, was born August 1937, in the village of Stavrochori in northern Greece.
Always a proud Greek, in 1965 Fillos moved his young family to Canada in search of opportunity for his family. There he raised three children of whom he could not be prouder; Ifigenia (husband Brian Bennett), Anastasios (wife Angie), and Theoharis (wife Lily Chau).
He was a hard-working entrepreneur. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family, especially his grandchildren; Anastasia, Phillip and Zoey, gardening, along with watching hockey and baseball and his trips to his little house in the village.
Extended family, Anastasia Boukouris (late mother-in-law), Alexandra Simon (sister-in-law), Sam Simon (late brother-in-law), Aliki (husband Mike) and George (niece and nephew) and too many more to name. Telling stories of his proud service in the Greek military, his days playing soccer as well as singing and dancing. He had a sense of humour and smile that stayed with him thorough out his life.
Private funeral arrangements are entrusted with Newediuk funeral home.
