Duffield JanetDUFFIELD, Janet Alexine (nee FERGUSON)   - Jan passed away peacefully in her sleep, on June 12, 2021.

She was loved so very much by her heartbroken kids, Suzanne Blakeman and Jeff Duffield, and her son-in-law John Blakeman.

Also missing her dearly are her grandchildren Cole and India Blakeman, Stephanie Duffield, and Fitz, the miniature dachshund who could never get enough kisses.

Jan had so many friends from every aspect of her life, who supported her and brightened her days.

She was grateful for all of them, especially Hugh, whom she loved with all her heart.

Jan was born in Stratford, Ontario, in 1939.

She spent her career as a Teacher and then Vice Principal for the TDSB.

In her retirement she spent many happy hours golfing and curling.

She was accomplished, smart, independent, charismatic, thoughtful, generous, and wonderful in every way.

She was the best mom. She always supported her kids, through good times and bad.

She could never do enough for them.

She was so appreciative of time spent together with her family.

After every family dinner she would always call to say what a lovely time she had and how much she loved spending time with the people she loved.

A celebration of life will be held when all her friends and family can attend in person.

Thank you, Mom, for everything. You will be loved and missed for the rest of our lives.
