MATHESON, Mary - Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021 at True Davidson Acres Care Home, Toronto, Ontario.
Mary was predeceased by her loving husband James Matheson, Sons Gary Matheson and Glenn Matheson.
Mary leaves behind her son Garth, daughter Beulah and many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
I personally want to thank Trudy, Bonnie & Frank, Willie, Marion & Gord, Diane, Roy and Pat for being such a blessing in her life.
Mary taught school in her early years then moved to Halifax where Gary was born. James & Mary then moved to Toronto where Garth, Beulah and Glenn were born.
Mary enjoyed her time working at Simpson downtown and the many friends she made. Mary never lost her love for her Beloved Prince Edward Island and returned whenever she could.
Mary was always grateful for her family, friends and her church family. She hosted and enjoyed many backyard gatherings.
Mary had a strong inner strength and faith, and she attended church regularly. She had a positive attitude.
Mary's favorite saying was "That's for the birds". Mary Loved to read "My cross in my Pocket".

Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only. While the family wishes you could all be with them in their time of loss, they appreciate your kind words and condolences.
