LaBrash TedLaBRASH, Theodore 'Ted' - Theodore 'Ted' LaBrash passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2021 at the young age of 57 with his beloved wife, Joanne, and his adoring children, Daniel and Lindsay, by his side.

Born in Timmins on May 5th, 1964, he was the first and treasured son of the late Robert & Jacqueline LaBrash. He grew up in Essex as the cherished brother of Jeanne (Rick), Deborah, and Bobby, before moving to Toronto and later raising his family in Woodbridge.

He was a respected son-in-law to Nello & the late Anna Tessarotto, and a fun-loving brother-in-law to Steve, Karen (Bogdan), and Len (Nives). He was also a wonderful father-in-law to Riali, and Papa to his first grandchild, Isla.

He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as all of his extended family and friends from Northern to Southwestern Ontario.

He loved the outdoors, from camping as a kid to travelling and cruising to tropical destinations later in life. As a sports enthusiast and skilled athlete, he also spent most of his years playing and coaching hockey, baseball, and golf. He devoted his life to making others smile and laugh, and he was always happiest surrounded by his family.

Ted fought a long and valiant battle with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s disease, and he was selflessly involved in research to help find a cure for future generations. His family is deeply appreciative of the ongoing support of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, CAMH, and the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer’s Network Trials Unit (DIAN-TU).

Despite the progression of the disease, Ted’s caring nature and sense of humour shone through until the end. He will forever live in the hearts of all that knew him.

Arrangements entrusted with Delmoro funeral home.
