HURST, Fredrick “Fred” Roy - Born October 4, 1932, passed on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the age of 88.
Survived by Edna Pearl (Switzer) Hurst, his dear wife of 67 years.
His daughters; Marilyn (Dan) Arsenault and Deborah (Glenn) Goulet.
Grandchildren; Keith Arsenault, Ashley (Frank) Zulli, Steve (Michel) Ray, and Justin (Kelly) Arsenault.
Great-Grandchildren; Ryan, Emma and Sarah Arsenault. Siblings; Jack (Dolena) Hurst, Carol (Jack) Taylor, Rick Hurst, and Donald (Betty) Freeman as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sister Dorothy (Hurst) Zettle, and parents Mary and Lent Hurst.
Growing up in Inglewood Fred was often getting into trouble with friends, snowmobiling down country roads, playing baseball and referring hockey while mother Mary was in the stands ready to give him heck if he made a bad call!
Fred’s greatest joy in life was his family.
In his last years, Fred was known best for tinkering around in the garage building model ships and airplanes; and watching over the neighbourhood with a wave and a smile to everyone who passed by. He was a fun loving, happy go lucky guy.
A small service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with close family and friends nearby.
