Byrne EuniceBYRNE, Eunice Doris Burne  -   Born January 31, 1927.  On July 3, 2021, Heaven gained another Angel.

Mom passed away peacefully at home, in her 95th year, as was her wish.

Beloved wife of Lawrence (predeceased 2008) for 75 years.

Much-loved Mom to Lisa, Timothy (Yoko), Paul (Beth), Nanny to grandchildren Blake (Robyn), Rebecca, Ethan and Shannon and Nanny B to great-grandchildren Grayson, June and Arthur.

Eunice leaves behind her loving sisters Betty Green and Yvonne (Coo) Artus.

Mom was always very caring, unselfish and tried to see both sides in every situation.

Her family always came first. She enjoyed reading, becoming knowledgeable on many subjects.

She loved watching hockey, tennis and figure skating. She was the #1 fan of "her boys" the Toronto Maple Leafs, since arriving from England in 1965.

Music was another of her loves, her favourite song being Roy Orbison's "Running Scared", she had a beautiful singing voice. She was a true mother from beginning to end, always putting her needs aside to ensure everyone else was fine. Although we miss her so much, we are at peace knowing she is with Dad.

We would like to thank our family and dear friends for their love and support over the past few months.

We would also like to thank Dr. Z and the amazing team at Dorothy Ley Hospice for their care and compassion as well as LHIN.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dorothy Ley Hospice or Etobicoke Humane Society would be appreciated.

Family and friends will be notified of Eunice's Celebration of Life.
