Romanchuk RichardROMANCHUK, Richard Allen - On Monday, July 12, 2021, Richard passed away suddenly and quietly at the age of 57.

He was visiting family at the time of death and had spent some memorable time with them prior to his passing surrounded by those who loved him.

Richard will be dearly missed by his mother, Betty (Elizabeth) Romanchuk, and brothers, Micheal (Kelly) and David (Olive). Predeceased by his father, Edward Romanchuk.

Richard will be fondly remembered by his nephews, Kurtis, and Nicholas and niece, Olivia. Richard will also be fondly remembered by his Aunt Charlene (Larry), Uncle Rick (Rose) and Uncle Gord (June) and his many cousins.

Richard went to school in Oshawa and studied sociology at Centennial College. Richard worked at Aluglas Packaging and Lear Seating Canada in Whitby until his retirement.

Richard will best be remembered for his volunteer work at Mackenzie Health, Camp Trillium for children with cancer and youth sporting organizations.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican church at 10030 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, Ont., on Saturday July 17, 2021. Visitation will start at 2:30 pm by invitation only (please contact Dave, Mike or Betty) followed by a funeral service at 3:30 pm. Those not able to attend in person may view the service on-line on St. Mary’s Anglican website.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, that a memorial donation in memory of Richard be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, the Mackenzie Hospital Foundation, Saint Mary's Anglican Church or charity of their choice.
