BAILEY, Robert F. - Bob passed away quietly, at 73 years of age, at home in Port McNicoll, on July 12, 2021.
Born, Robert Frederick Bailey, to Mary (nee Woodbyrne) and Fred, Bob was the second eldest of 5 Bailey children. Shirley (Davidson), Michael, Kevin and Jim.
A proud uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who loved him.
Continuing the Bailey family tradition of working on the railroad, Bob was a proud hogger for CN and Via Rail for many years where he made many lifelong friends and where he met the love of his life, Susan.
Bob was married to Susan (Laplante), who passed away on January 20, 2021.
Bob was devastated and heartbroken when he lost Susan.
Predeceased by his son Rob, Bob was a proud grandfather to Robbie Jr. (Kaitlyn) and adored his great-grandson, Colton.
Happiest when surrounded by family and friends, Bob enjoyed raising a glass of his favourite beverage, Alexander Keith's (AK's) and talking about old times.
Thanks to all the neighbours and friends who were always looking in on Bob, driving him to appointments, walking his beloved dog Bear and just spending time chatting with him on the front porch.
A private Celebration of Life will be held as per Bob's wishes.
Susan and Bob are back together now and forever. We will all miss you Bob! Cheers.
