Binder MaryBINDER, Mary (Zylberstajn) - Of Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully at the age of 97, on July 17, 2021.

Born in Bodzentyn, Poland in 1924, Mary survived the Holocaust alongside her mother, the late Esther Stanford.

Daughter of Jacob Zylberstajn and sister to Sara and Dora, all of whom perished in the Holocaust.

Beloved wife of the late Jacob "Jack" Binder.

Devoted mother and mother-in-law of David and Sari, Lenny and Evie.

Proud Bubby to Jacob and Pauliina, Raquel and Neil, Justin and Maya, Jason and Tatjana, Samantha and Ariel, and Carli.

Great Grandmother to Mariana Sophia.

We are forever grateful to Nora de la Cruz, Nora De Cena and Grace Ponchio for the devoted and loving care that they gave to Mary over the past many years.

Mary was passionate about education, languages, literature, and business. She was a talented entrepreneur who paved the way for her family to follow in her footsteps.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
