POVOA, Maria Alice - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria on July 16, 2021.
After a short battle with pancreatic cancer, she passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the age of 69 with family by her side.
Predeceased by her father Jose Cangueiro, Maria Alice is survived by her husband Firmino Povoa and their two children David (Lisa) and Christina (Armando).
Also, her mother Candida Cangueiro.
Cherished Avo of Ethan, Hannah, Gianluca, Alessia and Ignazio.
She will be dearly missed in Canada and Portugal.
Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Homes, Toronto on July 19, 2021. The service will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Toronto on July 20. 2021 at 9:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family appreciates donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada .
