DAVIS, Gordon - It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our beloved brother Gordon Davis on July 12, 2021.
He had a long battle with cancer but sadly was taken too soon.
He was surrounded by love, family and dear friends at the time of his passing.
Gordon will be deeply missed by his two sons, Gabriel and Jaedon, former wife Desiree, his brother Doug (Karen) and sister Ann (Bob) and his niece Maegan and nephews David (Jessica) and Chris.
He was pre-deceased by his Mother May and Father Rodger.
Gordon was a kind and gentle person who loved his sons and family with all his heart. He had a strong passion for art and music. Gord’s artistic and musical talents surfaced at a very young age and lead him to study Graphic Design at Humber College and eventually create his own Davis Designs company specializing in Web and Digital design.
His love for music started in the 70’s rock and roll era and grew to playing both the guitar and drums. He played the drums for a number of local bands and fondly remembers his time playing with the group 9th Line.
Gordon, you will be forever missed, cherished and loved! Your comedic personality that made us all laugh until we cried is a gift we will remember and treasure in our hearts. You were a loving brother, father and dear friend to everyone who had the honour to meet you.
Rest in peace and give Mom and Dad a big hug for us!
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Monday, July 19th, 2021 followed by the service in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society in Gordon’s name would be greatly appreciated.
