Walker DorisWALKER, Doris   -  1924 - 2021  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris (Dode) Walker.

Benevolent, compassionate, generous and always gracious, Doris' passion for perfection and excellence were cornerstones of her character.

She passed away peacefully, on Monday, July 12th, in her 96th year.

A lover of golf and duplicate bridge, Doris dedicated her life to her family and to her husband of 68 years, Clifford.

Doris leaves behind children Richard, Garth (Marianne Walker), Debbie (Len Powell), eight loving grandchildren (Christopher, Aimee, Lindsay, Matthew, Celina, Avery, Deanna and Kristina) and great-grandchildren (Cain, James and Parker).

An extraordinary wife and matriarch, Doris was always by Cliff's side.

A fortuitous meeting at the Trenton Air Force Base in the early 1940's set the stage for a lifelong love.

Dode's dedication to their marriage and family endured countless moves and hardships proving their bond to be unbreakable and undeniable. A team until the very end, Dode and Cliff, reunited once again.

We will remember Doris in a private family Celebration of Life.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to North York General Hospital in Toronto.
