* As of Sept. 22, 2021:  Funeral services (including visitations) are part of the Goverment

of Ontario's 'Vaccine Passport' requirement, If Held Indoors .

This includes Funeral Services at Funeral Home, Cemeteries and Crematoriums, If Held Indoors .

* From Sept. 22 to Oct. 12, 2021:
Funeral Guests may attend an Indoor Funeral, if they have Proof of a Negative COVID-19 Rapid Test,
taken 48 hours preceding the Funeral.

* After Oct. 12, 2021, all attendees must show proof of vaccination or written proof of a Medical
Exemption from a doctor or nurse.

There are no other exemptons for people attending funerals.

---Except for:
* Those presenting written proof of a Medical Exemption from a doctor or nurse; and
* Children under the age of 12.

* These measures do not apply to outdoor funerals.

* Everyone must still wear a mask or face covering.

Hewitt DonHEWITT, Donald Raymond - Passed away on July 20, 2021.

Don will be greatly missed by his wife Francine and children Steven, Michael and Debbie, his grandsons Bryan and Nathan and great Grandchildren Tanisha, Jonathan, Amaya and Malachi.

Don enjoyed a career in the Insurance Industry retiring as V.P. of The Facility Association.

He was an active member of St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Bay Ridges.

As a member of Civitan International, Don dedicated himself to the Agincourt Civitan Hockey League, Special Olympics and served as Governor and International Director.

His greatest joy were his days volunteering with Durham Community Care playing the piano and interacting with the people there.

Don was also an advocate for Water First Education and Training Inc. Many of Don’s watercolour paintings hang on walls across Canada.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
