SIMONE, Rita - It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Rita Simone on Sunday, July 25, 2021, with her family by her side in her 92nd year.
She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore.
Loving mother to Lorna (Rudy), Leanne (John, predeceased), and Michael (Lena).
Proud nana to Daniel, Jillienne (Matthew), Samantha (Paul), Lindsay, David, Carter, Riley and Kinley.
Sister to George (Julie), Jim (Gladys), and Marie (Joe). Sister-in-law to Mary.
She was predeceased by her sisters Jean and Rose; and her brother Joe.
Rita will be missed by extended family and friends.
There will be a Funeral Mass for registered guests on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 409 Markland Drive, Etobicoke, ON, with interment to follow in Toronto, ON.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Food for Children or The Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
