Manlucu RuthMANLUCU, Ruth Guese - 72, surrounded by her loved ones, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.  

She was the dearly beloved wife of Manuel Manlucu Jr.

Cherished mother of Jaimie (Peter), and Ruel (May).

Loving grandmother to Miah Leong-Sit and Kayde Manlucu. 

Ruth was predeceased by her parents Martha and Feliciano Guese and brother Nathaniel Guese.

She was the second oldest in a big loving family and will forever be remembered by them: Rolando (Gilda) Pagsanhan, Loida (Felix) Cervantes, Rose (wife of Nathaniel) Guese, Arlene (Rolando) Nicanor, Levita (Arthur) Costales, and Feliciano (Annabelle) Guese.

She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was a loving, kind and nurturing person who loved children –demonstrated through her teaching career with her Bachelor of Education from the Far Eastern University in the Philippines. 

She moved to Canada in 1973 and continued to have a profound impact on those she had met. She loved to cook, and travel with her sisters. She will be greatly missed. 

A funeral service will be held at Brampton Funeral Home, Brampton. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a limitation on guests will be applied.
