Hyshka EvaHYSHKA, Eva Olive - With our deepest and most profound sadness we announce the passing of Eva overnight on July 28, 2021 at the age of 87.

She passed at home after a lengthy period of being unwell, but always looked forward to what she wanted to do, once she was better.

Eva was born August 4th, 1933 in Toronto, first child to Lena and Michael Tabinski and continued to make Toronto her home for her entire life.

Eva was predeceased by her husband, William (Bill) Hyshka.  They married in 1952 and Bill loved Eva dearly right up until he passed away in 2020 at the age of 95.

As was Eva’s style, she did not let grief overwhelm her, finding the strength she needed to pick up and carry on. She liked to travel, particularly on cruises, but had a particular fondness for New York City (visiting it 3 times with her son) revelling in its energy.

Eva is dearly missed by family near and far and friends who always enjoyed her sense of humour and her constant love and support.

Beloved mother of Gary, sister of Phyllis Pillipow (Michael), aunt to Deann (Bob) and Lorraine (Ted) and their children Rickie, Michael, Jake and Cody.

She is also missed by her much loved ‘Monkey Face’ (Minx the cat)

As she loved animals, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Etobicoke Humane Society, so that animals in need may benefit from her kindness and generosity.
