Jenkins JamesJENKINS, James Charles   - At rest.   1924 - 2021 World War II D-Day Juno Beach Vetera.

At the age of 96 Jim passed away July 27, 2021.

Forever loved by his wife Joan, son Cameron (Nicole), daughter Jane (Geoffrey), grandchildren Charlie, Oliver, Hilary, Addie, Cousin Kay, siblings Marylynn and Herald, (deceased) Joyce, Bob, Gerald, Garnet and Rose.

After 4 1/2 years of service for our country, Jim and his business partner formed the Bannister and Jenkins Hardware Company in 1956.

Their main location being Bayview Village for 32 years.

In 1984 he received the CHHMA Achievement Award for his contribution to the hardware industry.

Jim served on the CRH Board and was the first ever North American President of the IFIA.

A great lover of sports but hockey the dearest.

In the early years he sponsored and personally coached a North York Hockey Team.

A member of Rameses Shrine, The Scottish Rites and Life member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 67 Lindsay.

A private burial has taken place.

Never would the above words be complete without our gratitude to family Dr. Mervin Jackson, his co-worker Karen Lock and our sincere caring friends at Bayshore and Spectrum particularly Binoy, Beverly, Maria, Charlita, and Clorita.
