Okeefe LeoOKEEFE, Leo Michael   -  Leo Michael OKeefe, beloved husband of the late Leonora OKeefe, peacefully surrounded by his family on July 29, 2021.

Leo is survived by his children Bernadette Fahey (John), Katheen Flynn (Adrian), Paul OKeefe (Melida) and Martin OKeefe (Tiffany).

He leaves grandchildren Rebecca, Christine, Ian, Emily, Fox, Joseph, Dana and Annie.

Leo was born into a large family in West Toronto and was the son of Frank and Bridget OKeefe.

Leo started working as a milkman for several dairies after the war delivering milk with a horse drawn wagon. He met the great love of his life Leonora in 1960 and was married in 1961.

He was a lifetime member of St. Vincent De Paul Society and for many years managed the Society's charity stores, before establishing his own trucking business that he ran for many years.

Leo was a man of great humour and wit and enjoyed life to the fullest with Leonora, his family and a large circle of friends.

He fought the beavers to a standstill in Muskoka, was a noted amateur thespian and a man of deep faith. Upon retirement he settled into a life of volunteerism through the Red Cross, Out of the Cold and service to others. He was a good and faithful servant to the Lord and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will take place at Smith's Funeral Home, Burlington, Ontario, on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 3 p.m. -5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Raphael's Parish, 4072 New St., Burlington, on Monday August 2, at 11 a.m.
