Santangeli AnneSANTANGELI, Anne   - It is with great sorrow that the family of Anne Santangeli announce her passing.

Anne died peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Amica Georgetown, at the age of 87.

She was the beloved wife for 63 years of Frank Santangeli.

She was the very proud mother of three children, Susan (Daniel Lalonde), David (Gillian Hand), and Peter (Lynn Hubbard).

She was the even prouder grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Maryse Skuza (Andrew Skuza), Matthew Lalonde (Samantha Lalonde), Michael Santangeli, William Santangeli, Ben Santangeli, Grace Santangeli, Gregory Santangeli and Christopher Santangeli.

Anne was also blessed by two great-grandchildren, Aaron Skuza and Freddie Skuza. Survived by her brother John Gauge (Judith Gauge).

Anne was always happy to share stories of the fantastic life she had lived, coming to Canada from Wales by boat in 1958 with Frank and only two hundred dollars in their pockets. Their life grew large in Canada.

Although in her heart she was always a proud Welsh Woman, Canada (and particularly the St. Lawrence Market area) became her cherished home for many years.

A special thank you goes out to the staff and residents at Amica Georgetown who made the last piece of her life so much fun.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
