Walsh McGeown Anne MarieWALSH / McGEOWN, Anne-Marie "Clare"   - (December 26, 1927 – July 18, 2021)

Always Loved, Our beloved Clare passed away peacefully at home, maintaining all the grace and dignity she always exuded and with her loving and devoted husband Francis (Frank) at her side.

She leaves her four "perfect children," Bev (Steve), Catherine, Greg (Susie), and Christine (Barry), to whom she always provided unconditional love and support.

Clare was also most proud of her 10 "gorgeous and intelligent" grandchildren and 10 of the most "delightful" great-grandchildren to walk the earth.

They will each dearly miss her international meals, decadent pies, sublime preserves, and contagious joie de vie. All those who met Clare will assuredly treasure her memory.

Clare was also a loved and loving stepmom to all six of Frank's sons, Dan, Joe, Terry, Jerry, Peter and Andrew and their spouses as well as their children and grandchildren.

Clare survived her first love and late husband Donald (1928-1984) and resided thereafter in her dream home in the country, preening her vegetable gardens and planning her and Frank's many world travels.

Cremation has taken place and funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 6th, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Newmarket, Ontario, where family and friends are welcome to attend.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a family only gathering at Clare and Frank's home will follow.

A livestream broadcast of the funeral mass will also be available on Facebook at @stelizabethsetonparish (videos).
