ROSCOE, Rachel Ethel Georgina - With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Rachel of London Ontario, peacefully on July 19, 2021, at the age of 89.
Born August 4, 1931, in Dalhousie N.B.
Married in Petawawa, Ontario She is predeceased by her husband John (Jack).
Rachel is survived by her five children Ralph (Rose), Sandra (the late Edmund), Patrick (Nancy), Charles (Debbie) and Warren (Tammy), nine grandchildren, Christopher, Raymond, Madison, Alexa, Sierra, Krystal, Tiffany, Megan, Matthew and four great-grandchildren, Eden, Felix, Nolan, and Fallyn.
Rachel was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf fan. She loved a good game of euchre with family and friends. She loved music and won many jitterbug contests with her husband. Swing music, Gene Autry, Perry Como, Engelbert and Johnny Mathis were her favourites.
She loved reading the Enquirer and Women’s World magazines for the articles and the crosswords. She was a cloud watcher, loved barbequed hot dogs (burnt), barbequed steak, deep fried clams, and Chinese food.
Rachel loved life and the people in her life.
She will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
