JORGENSEN, Lisa Josephine - July 27, 1956 – July 23, 2021
Lisa left our world a better place, but far too soon. Our shared loss is immeasurable; there are no words for this sorrow.
Beloved wife to husband, Michael, loving daughter to James Ignatius Dwyer and Jean Brierly-Dwyer (predeceased).
Loving sister to Kevin, Karen, Paul and Mary Ann. Devoted aunt to Sarah Anne, Jennifer, Robert, Shawn and Krista.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, When compared to what lies within" Ralph Waldo Emerson Lisa performed the work of three while employed in Marketing with Labatt Breweries.
She took a then failing brand and transformed it into a highly-profitable segment of the Labatt portfolio.
Lisa was an utterly fearless, protective, intuitive and highly-intelligent, human being.
She always chose the moral "high road" throughout her professional career and private life. In later years, as a volunteer at a downtown Mission soup kitchen, Lisa was loved and appreciated for her grace and laughter. She loved people, children, small animals and our cat, Scout, especially.
She gave of herself freely, particularly to those who needed kindness the most. Sensitive, caring and loving… so unique a person. Words fail, but there will never be another like her again.
Donations to Food Banks Canada, or one of personal choosing, would be appreciated.
