Bruni FrankBRUNI, Franco 'Frank' - Surrounded by his entire family, Frank, aged 92, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Beloved husband to Rita, devoted father to Cecilia and Ester (Ted), treasured Nonno to Catherine and William, and cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews in Italy.

Frank was the third son in a family of four boys and is also survived by his best friend and youngest brother, Peter.

Frank was born in Rome and at the age of 24, when an opportunity presented itself to start a new life, he immigrated to Toronto in 1954.

Once established, Frank returned to Rome to marry the love of his life, Rita, after a four year courtship of love letters.

They began their new life together in Toronto in May of 1958. They were married for 63 years and lived a full and happy life, always welcoming family and friends into their home, enjoying dinner dancing, and traveling the world.

Frank had a very successful career spanning over 37 years with the same company serving in many management capacities. Frank was known by his many friends and neighbours as a meticulous gardener and a kind, generous, and caring gentlemen who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He is dearly missed and will be lovingly remembered by all.

Many thanks to the dedicated caregivers and medical team who helped Frank remain comfortably in his home throughout these difficult times.

A private family mass will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
