HUNTER, June Aileen - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in her 102nd year at Baycrest Hospital in Toronto.
She was born on June 26, 1920 in Toronto, Ontario to Thomas and Doris Wood.
Loving wife of her late husband, John Hunter.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Essex (Jim), grandchildren Katherine Anne, James Andrew, and Michael Alexander (Jennifer). Great-grandchildren Kayla MacMillan, Tara MacMillan, and Hunter M. Essex.
Predeceased by her son, Dr. David Hunter, and siblings Vern and Thelma.
She will be greatly missed by many extended friends and family members.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham), on Thursday, September 16th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral communion will be held at St. John's Anglican Church Willowdale (1087 Lillian Street, North York), on Friday, September 17th at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
