ADOLFO, Gregoria Reyes - She died peacefully in her home on September 22, 2021 and will be reuniting in heaven with her husband Jose, her children Antonio and Luis, and her great grandchild Jacob.
Was born on April 24, 1921 in Manila, Philippines.
She is the matriarch of a family of 76, spanning 3 generations, spread across Canada, United States and the Philippines.
She was blessed with 100 years of life, a loving husband of 68 years, Jose, her 9 wonderful children (Jose Jr., Teresita, Gloria, Lourdes, Antonio, Victor, Luis, Manuel and Reynaldo) and their loving partners, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a school teacher in the Philippines, before coming to Canada in 1978, where she devoted her life to caring for her family. She attended church regularly and enjoyed all family events, especially the drive-by (due to COVID) birthday parade on her 100th birthday.
She loved cooking, knitting, playing mahjong and slot machines at the casino. In her last years she was surrounded by family who cared and nurtured her.
Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only.
While the family wishes you could all be with them in their time of loss, they appreciate your kind words and condolences.
