OMalley PatO'MALLEY, Pat - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father/papa “Pat” on Wednesday September 22, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Born February 12, 1931 to loving parents Thomas and Barbara O’Malley, Pat is now reunited with his cherished wife Helen.

Proud father of Della O’Malley, Debbie (Martin) Barber, and Patricia (Chris) Chappell. Adored grandfather of Dawn (Randy) Hopkin, Ross (Kathleen) Barber, Derrick (Renee) Chappell, Sean Chappell, and Ryan Chappell, great-grandfather of Riley Hopkin, Felix Hopkin, Callie Hopkin, Kellan Hopkin, Hazel Hopkin, Keely Barber, and Isla Barber.

Pat was the brother to 8 brothers and sisters; Johnny & Teresa O’Malley (deceased), Alfie & Helen O’Malley (deceased), Jerry O’Malley (deceased) & Betty O’Malley, Robert & Evelyn O’Malley (deceased), Phyllis Bernie & Martin Bernie (deceased), Ellen Law & David Law (deceased), Loretta Murray and Donald Murray (deceased), and the Reverend Father Joseph O’Malley.

Pat was a remarkable man within his community, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Islington Golf Club. Pat was a parishioner at St. Anthony of Padua, a man of strong faith and determination. Pat had many interests, such as golfing, bowling, and especially spending precious time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

From the time he started working as a young man, Pat had a deep love of the woodworking industry. He began his career as a timber worker in the forest and with hard work and determination started a successful moulding company along with two partners. For many years he was an integral part of the woodworking industry and made many lasting friendships. Pat will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel. Due to the ongoing Covid 19 restrictions, the visitation will be limited to the immediate family. All Family and friends are welcome to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Anthony of Padua R.C.C. (940 North Park Drive, Brampton) on Monday September 27th at 12:30pm. Pat will be laid to rest at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery (6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga).Face masks and physical distancing regulations are still in effect.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat to the Alzheimer Society, the hearing society, or to the Tall Pines LTC (cheques to be mailed to; 1001 Peter Robertson Blvd).
