CURRIE, Edith Lorene (nee LANGSTAFF) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at home at the age of 104.
Beloved wife of the late Andrew James.
Predeceased by her brother Hartwell and sisters Mable and Laverna.
Devoted mother of Robert (Gail).
Cherished grandmother of James, Melissa, David and Michelle.
Adored great-grandmother to Sydney, Kyley, Klyde, Maxwell and Malone. Edith was born in Orillia, Ontario but moved at a very early age to Toronto and was employed with the Federal Parole Service for many years.
One of her great passions was travelling with her husband a long time employee of Air Canada.
Edith was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and an avid supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
