THOMSON, Dorothy Florence (nee McKAY) - September 16, 1926 – September 17, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce, that at age 95, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed peacefully, at Extendicare Port Hope, on Friday, September 17, 2021.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Debbie (Don) Cranston, Fred Thomson, grandchildren Lisa Shkordoff (Thomas James), Heather Scott (Alex), Andrew Thomson, Amanda Thomson (Andrew Vanderkloff), great-grandchildren Nolan, Brooklyn, Wolfgang and Wesley.
Dorothy's wonderful sense of humor, her smile, her kindness and a little bit of sassiness will be greatly missed.
We would like to thank the amazing staff at Extendicare Port Hope for their kindness and compassion for Mom during this time.
Visitation and service will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham, ON.
