Jimenez CarmenJIMENEZ, Carmen Luis - Born July 3rd, 1937 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 at the age of 84.

Beloved wife of the late Rodrigo Solatorio Jimenez.

Adored and cherished mother and mother in law of Mariecris and Jhun De Guzman, Louie and Mary Rose, Mallou and the late Anthony Alain Santos, Michael and Elana.

Adored grandmother of Lizette De Guzman and Lorenzo, Jay Santos, Jordan and Charity De Guzman, Jeffrey DeGuzman and Krystle Faustino, Ariana Santos, Chelsea Santos and Joseph De Guzman.

Great grandmother to Christian and Carter De Guzman, Avery De Guzman and Caydan De Guzman. Aunt to Tessie and Charles, Aileen and Eric Rist.

Sister in law to Aida Umali and Aurora Clemena. Grand aunt to Desiree and Andrew Sinclair, Derek and Jean Doberstein. Great Grand aunt to Owen and Elizabeth Sinclair and Alana and Ella Doberstein.

In 1967, Carmen and the late Rodrigo immigrated to Canada with the hopes and dreams to build a better life for their family. In 1969, they reunited with their children and have been inseparable ever since.

Mom's presence, smile and laughter filled our lives with so much love and happiness. Her beautiful heart was loved and will be deeply missed by her extensive family in California and by all her friends. Her unwavering faith and love for Our Lord united her with her friends in BLD.

Family and friends will be received at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021. Funeral mass will be held at St. Bernadette's Parish (21 Bayly Street East, Ajax) on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at 11 am with internment to follow.

We kindly request that all attendees be fully vaccinated. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
