Chadwick LeonardCHADWICK, Leonard Gardiner   -  It is with great sadness that the family of Leonard Gardiner Chadwick announce his peaceful passing at the age of 91, in Markham, Ontario, on October 5, 2021.

Lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Isobel, daughters, Linda and Karen, son-in-law, Ron, and grandchildren, Daniel and Rachel, as well as his many relatives and friends.

Len was born in Toronto on March 24, 1930, the first of three sons of Ethel and George Chadwick.

Always a passionate sports fan, he excelled as a player and coach.

He started his work career at the Globe and Mail, where he met his beloved wife.

His outgoing personality, social skills and love of people led him from working on the presses to selling business forms, and it was here he built a lengthy, award-winning sales career distinguished by his accomplishments and lifelong relationships.

He will be remembered for his keen sense of humour, acrobatic dance moves, his love of golf and baseball and his fascination with the stock market.

A lifelong Yankees fan, he also loved the Toronto Blue Jays, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and more recently, the Raptors.

The family wish to thank everyone at Amica Swan Lake for their kind and supportive care. Also, a special thanks to the Emergency staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stroke Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital, through the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated: www.mshf.on.ca.
